This piece started with an old stock photo I found at a thrift store and the goal to re-create the magic of the German Christmas Markets for my grandmother. I designed the scenery around the flickering lights so they would light up any face that looked at it, just like a kid on Christmas morning.

Custom Joy!
One of the reasons I started painting was because it brought me immense joy to see the reaction of someone who received the finished piece. To think God gave me this gift and I get to use it to bring others joy, is the gift that keeps on giving.
